Augustine Tox Results Back
Toxicology results have come back on a La Crosse man who accidentally drowned
in the Black River late last month. 23 year old Shalim Augustine had a blood alcohol level of .323 on the night he fell into the river while walking home.
The body of Augustine was pulled from the Black River in an area north of where he was last seen with friends three days earlier.
There were no signs of injuries or trauma and no evidence of foul play, according to La Crosse County Medical Examiner Tim Candahl and La Crosse police.
