Man Accused Of Killing La Crosse Woman In Chicago Could Be Tried This Month…Maybe
The man suspected in the stabbing death of a La Crosse woman in Chicago three years ago may finally go on trial this month…
Or, he may not.
A spokeswoman for the Cook County courts says jury selection may happen on Monday for Christopher Love, accused of killing Sarai (suh-RYE) Michaels in a downtown Chicago hotel in 2011. Prosecutors say Love had hired Michaels as a prostitute, and stabbed her with her own knife after they got into an argument. We’re told attorneys have continued to investigate the murder this year, leading up to a possible trial.
