Routine Mayoral Appointments a Little Less Routine
The various appointments made by a La Crosse mayor rarely gain attention. But two appointments seeking approval at the city council meeting tonight buck that trend. The mayor has selected two new members for the library board, under fire recently for unpopular decisions to close branch library buildings
Mayor Tim Kabat. One of the mayor’s appointments, Laurie Landry is on the city’s special library task force. The other, David Polodna, is the former administrator for the Winding Rivers Library System based in La Crosse.
