La Crosse Rental Suit Likely to be Decided Today
A decision by a La Crosse judge on the city’s rental rules should come today. Judge Scott Horne is scheduled to rule in a lawsuit brought by landlords who say the city’s rental registration and inspection regulations violate a state law. The suit also challenges the constitutionality of the city ordinance. But the city council last week tweaked the law enough to change that, says plaintiff’s attorney, Bernardo Cueto
