La Crosse Mayor Expects to Move On After Court Ruling
La Crosse mayor Tim Kabat never had any doubts about the La Crosse rental registration and inspection process surviving a legal challenge. Turns out he was right after a judge yesterday ruled against plaintiffs in the lawsuit on the rental ordinance. Time to move on, says Kabat
But, Kabat says, the city will continue to move forward as if the rental rules for registering and inspecting properties are legitimate and he expects those landlords who were part of the suit to eventually register their properties.
