Cameras Catch Perp Damaging Parking Gate

Surveillance cameras in La Crosse parking ramps have yielded some early results.  After losing around forty gates that were installed this spring at the ramps, cameras were installed to help police catch the vandals.  Police today say that’s exactly what has happened.  Apparently an out-of-towner from Minneapolis who broke one of the aluminum gates to get out of one of the ramps.  He’ll get charged for the destruction.  Cops are hoping word will get out that damage to the gates will result in certain prosecution.
