Mosquito Control Agent Worries That Climate Change Could Increase Insect Numbers
The cooler kind of summer that we’ve had this year may lead more people to doubt the predictions of global warming…
But a mosquito expert in La Crosse County is inclined to take those predictions seriously. Dave Geske’s job is vector control…to get rid of mosquitoes that could spread encephalitis and other diseases. Geske is concerned about the theory that warmer weather around the world could lead to greater breeding of mosquitoes:
