Is It A Cold Or Rare Virus
Wisconsin hospitals have been placed on alert for Enterovirus D-68, a
virus that has sent countless kids to U.S. hospitals with breathing problems and symptoms of an intense cold. But La Crosse area hospitals and health departments have not seen a serious spike in respiratory cases. Yet.Gunderson Health System’s Marilyn Michels tells us about the rare virus.
She says that the virus is a bit different from a cold.
La Crosse health leaders are on the lookout for the Enterovirus, even though there are no official cases yet.
