Playboy magazine reports the University of Wisconsin-Madison ranks second
among the nation’s “party schools.” Only the University of Pennsylvania was ranked higher. Campus police are doing what they can to slow down some of the partying. The University of Wisconsin Police Department says it is cracking down on student drinking this semester. It’s a targeted alcohol enforcement effort, resulting in a noticeable increase in alcohol citation numbers. Police say they’re not trying to spoil the fun for students, but they want to keep them out of detox.
