Cause Of Fatal Plane Crash In Houston County Still Not Solved, Almost A Year Later

It could be weeks or months yet before the government issues a new report on a deadly plane crash that happened at the Caledonia airport last fall…

The accident which killed three men from Michigan and injured a fourth was one of six airplane crashes that occurred in the U-S last November 1st.  A probable cause already has been determined for all the other accidents on that date, but results of the Caledonia investigation are still preliminary.  A representative of the N-T-S-B says crash reports generally come out 12 to 18 months after an accident.  An investigator who visited the scene at Caledonia said one of the wings may have touched the ground as the plane was trying to land at the airport.
