Police Plan to Contact Colleges About Students’ Festing Extremes
Final tally of Oktoberfest weekend alcohol-related tickets could number in the hundreds by the time they’re all counted. Many of those going to people visiting the area. And could come with more than just a ticket fine, says sergeant Randy Rank, especially for those who are college students. He says the department plans on notifying schools about what their students were up to over the weekend
Most of the tickets written over the weekend were for underage drinking. Those appear to be directly related to extra police enforcement in the area around UWL.
