Kids Raise Nearly $1700 For South Branch Library Programs

They’re called the ‘Save the South Branch Library Club’…

A group of young people in La Crosse has been busy in the last year, holding yard sales and finding other ways to raise money for the south-side library.  Kaitlyn Erickson is one of those club members, who talks about their goals:

The group collected 16-hundred-64 dollars and 84 cents…which impressed city leaders and La Crosse Library director Kelly Krieg-Sigman:

Krieg-Sigman says the new funding will be put toward special library programs at the south branch next summer.
