Man Still Missing From Shrine

Still no sign of a gray-haired man in a leather jacket who apparently

wandered away from the Guadalupe Shrine near La Crosse this weekend. Goudensio Gayton is 74 years old.  He’s from Mexico, and doesn’t speak English.  Jack Socha at the shrine headquarters says the search began Sunday after a family from Iowa visited the shrine:

Vernon County authorities think Gayton might have been walking along Highway K near the shrine early Sunday night.  The Stoddard Bergen fire department and Coon Valley firemen joined in the search yesterday.
