Missing Man Seen On Trail Cam

Police in Vernon and La Crosse counties are continuing to search for a 74 year old man from Mexico, who went missing while on a visit to a religious shrine on October 12th. Goudensio Gayton was reported missing by his family when they were visiting the Our Lady of Guadalupe shrine near La Crosse, after he became separated from the family.

 

Vernon County has also joined the search. A town of Hamburg resident in Vernon County called the Sheriff’s Office on Saturday, after seeing pictures of Gayton on one of his game cameras he set up along a wood line a mile from his home. The photos were taken six days earlier, on the day Gayton was reported missing.

 

Gayton was last seen wearing dress shoes, blue pants, a black leather jacket and a white cowboy hat. He is 5 feet tall, gray hair and speaks no English. If you see Gayton, contact the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, 608-637-2123
