Happel Doyle Go Toe To Toe

During the election campaign, you may hear many legislators accused of mainly

voting the party line. In the 94th Assembly district, Republican Tracie Happel says incumbent Democrat Steve Doyle votes with his party the majority of the time.  And Doyle doesn’t dispute that:

But Doyle told a debate audience in La Crosse last night that he also votes with Republican Speaker Robin Vos 92 per cent of the time.  And he asked Happel when she might consider siding with Democrats on a bill:

Happel is a La Crosse area teacher making her first run for state office.  Doyle is seeking a third term in the legislature.
