Lawyers For Town Of Campbell And Chief Kelemen Talking Of Possible Settlement

They’ve been talking, but there’s no resolution yet… 

The Town of Campbell and its Police Chief, Tim Kelemen, have been in discussions for two weeks about whether he’ll be allowed to remain in the department.  Town attorney Brent Smith announced this month that the Campbell board wanted to negotiate with Kelemen, who’s on leave for using the internet to harass a Tea Party member.  Kelemen’s attorney, Jim Birnbaum, says the talks have been ‘fruitful’ and ‘mutually respectful.’
