$1000 Fine Suggested For Damaging Ticket Gates In Lax Ramps

It happened again last night…

Somebody wrecked one of the ticket gates at the La Crosse Center ramp…apparently, a deliberate case of vandalism.  Since April, that’s been happening in the ramps about twice a week, on average.  Bob Haines in the La Crosse public works office is being asked by the parking utility to study the gate damage:

The city is installing security cameras in ramps to catch the vandals in the act.  Haines says a thousand dollar fine has been suggested, compared to the current fine of just 250 bucks.
