Candidates In The 96th Debate
The future of Badgercare will be on ballots around Wisconsin this election
day. Voters will be asked whether to allow the state to take health care money, to support Wisconsin’s own health program. Democrat Pete Flesch, who’s running for the 96th District Assembly seat, wants the state to accept the federal funds:
Flesch’s opponent, incumbent lawmaker Lee Nerison, sides with Governor Walker in rejecting that funding, because there’s no guarantee that the state would get it:
Nerison and Flesch met in a debate this week at U-W-La Crosse.
