WMC Issue Ads Targeting Rep. Danou
Will Obamacare influence how you vote for state legislative races?
Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce seems to think so. The group is running radio ads criticizing Trempealeau Assemblyman Chris Danou (DAN-oh) for supporting Obamacare…and for not backing state tax cuts. Democrat Danou, a former Onalaska policeman, is seeking his fourth term in the 91st District, facing Republican Isaac Weix (wix). And Danou says he has been endorsed by groups that are more to the right:
Danou calls the conservative-leaning W-M-C ‘partisan hacks.’ He and other area Democrats in the legislature got scores of 30 per cent or less on the latest W-M-C scorecard. Republican rep Lee Nerison was among those getting 100 per cent.
