Viterbo Brings In Tons O Food

The Viterbo University food pantry and La Crosse’s Place of Grace

are set for food for the near future. Those charity groups will benefit from over 12-thousand pounds of food donated by Festival Foods and Burnstad’s, to help Viterbo reach a food drive goal.  Mark Skogen of Festival was recruited by fellow Viterbo graduate Derek Burnstad to help out the food drive.  Mark recalls stories about his grandfather, Skogen’s founder Paul Skogen, checking his ‘charge slip’ box occasionally:

The big donations have led Viterbo to keep the food drive going onto the higher goal of 25-thousand pounds of food.
