Minnesota Talks High Speed Rail
Two westbound, two eastbound, every day. That schedule for Amtrak trains
through La Crosse is still a possibility being studied by transportation experts. Dave Christianson from MinnDOT says a study of the demand for expanded service for the Empire Builder should be released in a few weeks:
The Empire Builder stops in La Crosse twice a day…in the late morning, headed for Chicago, and in early evening, bound for the Twin Cities.
