Postal Workers Peeved

Postal workers in La Crosse are in limbo again, as they have been frequently

in recent years. They’re wondering if they will lose their jobs, because of Postal Service plans for consolidating facilities to save money.  Postal union spokesman Gene Danielson says the government keeps changing the date for when processing might end in La Crosse:

The current closing date for the La Crosse sorting center is in April.  Nearly 80 other locations around the country are scheduled for closing next year, and La Crosse workers picketed on Friday to protest the changes.
