Local Home Sales Buck State Trend

While housing sales jumped for the rest of Wisconsin for October, La Crosse home sales dropped a bit from last year.  The latest report on sales from the state Realtors assocation says statewide sales for October were up by nearly 10% over the October of last year, with the median sales price going up by over four percent.  In La Crosse county, meanwhile, October sales were down by one percent over last year’s numbers with the median sales price also down by about one percent to just over $148 thousand.
