Snow making efforts for the 19 ski runs at Mt. Lacrosse began on Monday and
will continue until Thanksgiving weekend when general manager, Darcey Briedel says they want to open. We asked if the early snowfall we’ve seen helps get the hills and trails ready for skiers and tubers.
Briedel tells us that the snow making effort is a 24 hour a day job that requires about 25 million gallons of water and a cooling pond. Snow making should wrap up around Christmas.
