Onalaska Tourism Office To Move
Another move for Onalaska’s tourism office. The organization will soon
occupy space inside the Omni Center…but Mayor Joe Chilsen hopes the tourism center will get a more permanent site near the Black River before the end of next year. Chilsen says the Omni location will take up about a thousand square feet of floor space:
The tourism office has been in the Center 90 area for a while, after different plans to locate near Highway 35 failed to materialize. A proposal to move into the former Timber Square building was vetoed last December.
