About 500 downloads have been reported for the ‘Pulse Point’ program, telling phone users when someone in a nearby public place is going through cardiac arrest. Tom Tornstrom with Tri-State Ambulance says a few dozen local people had the app before it was publicized last Thursday at a news conference:
Tornstrom says so far, there are no reports yet of any local residents who have been able to give CPR because of a Pulse Point alert.
