Short One Wheel Loader, La Crosse Crews Hit the Street

It takes a pretty big crew of heavy equipment operators to clean the streets of a city after a snowfall.  It was happening overnight in La Crosse while most of us slept.  Unfortunately, some of that heavy equipment falls apart.  Like the wheel loader La Crosse street crews lost just before this year’s first snowfall.  City public works director Dale Hexom says there is a plan to keep up with losses like that

Although La Crosse has other wheel loaders, they’re looking for a replacement for the dead one.  That surprise expenditure will be close to 200 thousand dollars.
