La Crosse To Talk Roads Next Week

Could be a $138 million meeting Tom Faella goes to on Monday.

The director of the La Crosse Area Planning Committee heads to Madison for a meeting of a transportation commission that could determine that it can no longer wait for agreement on where to expand north south traffic through La Crosse.  For that commission, says Faella, the old 5B-1 marsh road plan is still the one on the table.  But maybe that can change

Faella’s hope is that commission will agree to hold off on yanking $138 million in funding for a road until a new study on transportation needs can be complete.
