Cyber Monday Brings Out The Criminals
Shopping online for that hot TV or gaming system today? Get an email deal for
that item? Sandy Chalmers with the state’s protection agency says you may have gotten an email from a criminal.
Chalmers also says social media sites carry deals which are too good to be true. She says scammers might try to use accounts that have been compromised to send out spam to friends so it’s important to be on guard, even if you think you’re getting a message from somebody you know.
