Lights Shine Bright In La Crosse Park

The Christmas lights don’t go on in La Crosse’s Riverside Park until the fat man arrives.

And the 20th annual Rotary Lights display along the riverfront was kicked off as usual on Friday night with Santa Claus leading the countdown:

More than three million lights will be displayed in the park every night through New Year’s Eve.  Organizers are hoping to break the food collection record set in 2012, when more than 230-thousand food items were brought to the park by visitors.
