Jurors Taken To Scene Of A Murder

The first full day of the Mitrel Anderson murder trial in La Crosse included

a field trip to the scene of the crime…a Kwik Trip store. Jurors were allowed to see the location where Demario Lee was stabbed to death in a fight with Anderson last year.  That followed opening statements, in which prosecutor Michelle Keller detailed the head wound that killed Lee:

Defense attorney Christopher Zacher described how Lee and other men prepared to ambush Anderson at the Kwik Trip that night, after Lee reportedly threatened to kill Anderson in a confrontation outside a bar.
