Kind Troubled By Interrogation Report
Interrogations that lasted for days on end. Detainees forced to stand on
broken legs, or go 180 hours in a row without sleep. A prison so cold, one suspect essentially froze to death. The Senate Intelligence Committee finally released its review of the CIA’s detention and interrogation programs. And it is brutal. Congressman Ron Kind says he was shocked to learn what was in the report. He says he went to the those that conduct interrogations and asked about the techniques used.
And they also agreed with a portion of the report that concluded that the CIA’s interrogation techniques never yielded any intelligence about imminent terrorist attacks.
