Published

It was a big day for the La Crosse Salvation Army on Saturday. That was

the day an anonymous donor pledged to match, up to $50,000, whatever was dropped into the red kettles in La Crosse and Onalaska that day. Turns out, bell ringers collected $60,000 that day, which with the matching donation makes it a $110,000 day. And the local Salvation Army is now slightly ahead of what was collected at this time last year.
