Schedule For Rotary Lights Changes A Bit For Christmas Eve
On the night before Christmas,
That most festive of nights,
There will be a few changes
For Rotary Lights.
December the 24th is not a typical evening for La Crosse’s Rotary Lights display. The schedule is an hour shorter than usual tonight and tomorrow, opening at the normal time of 5 p-m, but shutting down at 9. For Christmas Eve, there’s no live nativity scene at Riverside Park, and Santa’s reindeer have the night off for what the Rotary calls ‘a prior North Pole commitment.’ But there will be a church service for the whole community inside the Ice Castle at 5:30 tonight.
