Sun Would Be Nice
Many folks in the Coulee Region may be feeling relief today…not just that
Christmas is behind us, but because a long spell of gloomy weather has been broken. At the National Weather Service, forecaster Jeff Boyne says we had 17 straight days of mostly gray sky just before Christmas. Before Thursday, the last day with a good deal of sunshine was December 7th:
La Crosse had pleasant temperatures along with the sunshine on Thursday. Yesterday’s high was 42…just 13 degrees short of the Christmas record set in 1936.
