A new elementary school and renovations to the high school. The beef behind
a $26 million referendum coming January 6th. La Crescent-Hokah School District Superintendent Ron Wilke was questioned about building a new school on or near the Applefest grounds.
Wilke said they also hope the additions increase school security, provide more space for learning, and allow for more technology in the classroom. Wilke said that if the referendum passes, the school district is hoping to be in the new elementary school by December of 2016.
