Roosevelt Sale Not Until 2015

2015 should bring about some closure to the La Crosse School District when

it comes to selling off the Roosevelt school building. Superintendent, Randy Nelson told us yes, he wishes the building would be out of the district’s hands.

Developers, Gorman & Company, Inc. are currently going through the zoning process with the city. The next step will be applying for historical and low income housing tax credits due in February. Nelson said if everything goes as planned, a sale and construction could begin next fall.
