ACLU; Attention to Hamilton Case Can Have Benefits

There will be no lack of critics for Jesse Jackson’s visit to Milwaukee today.  But state ACLU director Chris Ahmuty might not be one of them.  Jackson’s in the state to draw more attention to the Dontre Hamilton case.  Hamilton, a black man, was killed by a Milwaukee cop in April.  That officer was not charged.  Ahmuty says it’s important to pay attention to discrimination in police departments like Milwaukee’s
