A massive tree-removal campaign in Onalaska isn’t quite a year old, but it
has made an impact on the city’s look…
About 500 ash trees have been cut down on Onalaska boulevards, to slow the spread of the emerald ash borer. The city plans to replace all of those trees eventually. But Onalaska city planner Katie Meyer says people who have ash trees on their property do have a choice:
Meyer says the removal process is ahead of schedule because of the lack of snow to deal with this winter.
