Weird Weather Year
La Crosse didn’t have a white Christmas or a white New Year’s…but the rest
of New Year’s weekend could be pretty snowy. The weather service is predicting what might be our first big storm of the season, which could bring four to five inches of snow to La Crosse by Monday night. The heaviest snow in the city so far this season fell in November, when we received just over four inches in six days. But for all of December, La Crosse had just two inches of snow. And that’s too much to make the bottom 10 list for Decembers without much snow.
