Holiday Jail Stay For Drunk Guy
This guy hadn’t counted on spending part of his holiday
break in jail. Vern Mickels of Bangor is accused of driving drunk last week in the West Salem area. According to authorities, it’s his 5th O-W-I charge…and his second one since last June. Mickels told a judge on Friday that he needed to travel west to resume a military job:
Mickels did bond out of jail after his court appearance. He’s still expected to appear before a judge tomorrow.
