Walker Begins Second Term
Governor Scott Walker began his second in office Monday morning by again reminding us how much more Wisconsin has accomplished than the federal government.
Walker highlighted how he took power from what he calls big government special interests, namely with the Act-10 public union bargaining limits from 2011. Walker also said that Wisconsin has its lowest unemployment rate since the Great Recession, and the state’s public pension system is among the financially-strongest in the country.
