Billings Trafficking Symposium Coming

For at least a year in Wisconsin, state lawmakers and community groups have

been calling attention to human trafficking within the state. This week, legislators from both parties are conducting a discussion on trafficking in Madison…and La Crosse’s Jill Billings is one of the sponsors.  Billings believes more needs to be done to help people who have been caught in forms of slavery:

Billings hopes that the panel discussion tomorrow at the state capitol will educate more lawmakers on the trafficking which has been reported in every county of Wisconsin.
