Rasch Hopeful With State Budget
Questions still remain about how Governor Scott Walker is going to
solve Wisconsin’s $2.2 billion budget shortfall while delivering on tax cut promises. Western Technical College President, Lee Raasch says in the last budget cycle, there there was a shift in funding more state dollars to reduce the property tax levy which was a good thing. But there was no new money. Hopes are there is this time around.
Walker says all of those questions will be answered when he releases his tax and spending plan on February 3rd.
