Slave Trade Growing

Western Wisconsin is seeing an increase in police activity to break

up human slavery operations. That’s according to the head of a La Crosse task force on ‘modern slavery.’  Sister Marlene Weisenbeck of the Task Force supports education about the problem…even at sporting events:

Sister Marlene says much of the human trafficking in the U-S is related to prostitution.  But people can also be forced into slavery to provide farm labor, or to work in factories.
