Sheriff Unconcerned About Higher Limit

Fretting about the possibility of the speed limit increasing to 70 in Wisconsin?  La Crosse county sheriff Steve Helgeson isn’t.  Helgeson tells us he doesn’t think a higher speed limit will be any more dangerous.  Although he does think police might give less of a cushion in enforcing the higher limit llike some other states apparently have done

Lawmakers in Madison have brought back the idea of the 70 mile per hour speed limit in Madison.  Wisconsin is the lone remaining midwestern state where the limit is still 65.
