Democratic Party Chair of Wisconsin Mike Tate says Governor

Scott Walker has failed to share a plan to shore up Wisconsin’s finances, accusing him of being more focused on courting voters and donors for a likely 2016 presidential run. Senator Kathleen Vinehout agrees. And she says you don’t have to look too far to find out where problems lie.

Vinehout says one suggestion from Democrats is for Wisconsin to accept the federal Medicaid expansion, which would save somewhere in the $200-300 million range in the upcoming two-year budget. A budget deficit is on pace to fall about $280 million short by the end of June.
