Doyle Has Concerns On UW System Cuts
State lawmaker Steve Doyle says when he taught classes at UW-L in the late
80’s, the UW System was crafting it’s way into becoming a world class system. That could be hurt with proposed system wide cuts proposed by Governor Scott Walker.
The governor is proposing a $300 million dollar cut in state funding for two years, along with two more years of tuition freezes. At the Capitol, Democrats blasted the Walker plan, but Doyle says some Republicans have concerns as well.
