Gow Says UW-L Cuts Would Run Deep

Governor Scott Walker, this week, released details of his budget proposal for

the UW System for the coming 2015-2017 biennium. Somewhat stunning says UW-L Chancellor, Joe Gow.

If the proposal were to go through, Gow says UW-L’s cut would be $12 million. If the current tuition freeze stays around for another two years, that means no new revenue for UW-L. On Wednesday, Gow’s leadership team begin thinking about a plan of what to do if the cuts do in fact go through.
