Walker Talks UW Cuts

Who benefits from governor Walker’s plan to cut funding for the UW System and

freeze tuition over the next two years?  The governor himself.  He says as much in his weekly radio address this week, noting that he has a son in the UW System and so he knows how important a freeze is for parents.   In the same address, Walker also claims the system itself will greatly benefit

Walker has proposed a three hundred million dollar cut to the system over the next two years along with a freeze on tuition increases, leading the system president to call for immediate implementation of cost-saving moves system wide.
